the state looks down on sodemy.

i love blink-182. this band seemed to strike a chord with my friends and i at a very impressionable age in our lives. no matter what band, or which friend i was jamming with, we always ended up playing a blink song or two. while the music was fun, my favorite thing about blink is/was their music videos. no one knew how to make a funny video like the mark tom and travis show did.
my personal favorite is 'Josie.' filmed by Darren Doane at Westlake High School, the video still makes me smile to this day. On a personal note, i could not stop telling mr doane how much i loved this video when i got to watch him film 'the waiting hurt' video in rogers bedroom some (9?)years ago. enjoy.

robot hand is the future.

I watched 'strange parallel this morning while kayli was playing guitar hero. she has almost beat every level on 'medium' now. she kills me every time, and its kind of a drag. heres a recent picture from disneyland.

and heres one of the most odd yet insightful documentaries ever made... It pales in comparison to "lucky three" .. but its definetly worth a watch.

just like my favorite song..

It's raining out. I love the rain. It could rain 366 days a year, and i would be the happiest guy in oxnard. I'm going to try and think of other things that make me happy now.

*kayli, when she doesn't use words( that are ok to say around dad), around Marissas aunts and grandparents. Shes a fan of the C-word.

Marissa surprised me with this last xmas. Coolest gift ever.

Here is every single EP elliott smith ever released. At least i know i could pay my rent for a month if i ever got fired.

(Others peoples) babys are nice. Especially when they have their own website.

they will kill us all without mercy.

Well, I am stoked. Not sure how, or why, but i scored, and i mean SCORED today on eBay.

One of my favorite bands over the last four years has been The Bronx, from here in LA. In general, I usually collect the vinyl of my favorite bands. But The Bronx are one of those bands who have their finger on the pulse of the vinyl collecting-nerd populous. Kids will pay a shit load of money for their "rare" records. But today, my stars-in-the-sky aligned.

The Bronx released 3 x 7" series entitled "The Social Club" with-in the last year. They are limited to 250 pressings each, and hand silk screened by the band. That basically = $$$ for Bronx collectors.

I have seen these 7" go for over $100 APIECE! (check Popsike.com if you don't believe me) I managed to win all 3 at once, in mint condition, for $22. (!!!) needless to say.. i am stoked out of my fucking mind. This is one of The Bronx collectors items I figured would be waaay to rich for my blood, especially with the wedding, and everything else coming up.

While we are on the topic of The Bronx.. I managed to also get their "Bats" limited edition picture disk recently, for dirt cheap. The last one i saw on eBay, went for $54... I bought this one of some guy in a BIN (buy it now) auction for $10.. wtf?

merry xmas to myself?
